Obituaries

age 93, of Crivitz, passed away Saturday January 21, 2023, with family by her side. She was born in Cicero, Illinois on February 20, 1929; daughter of the late Michael and Adeline (Gozdecki) Czech. Throughout Wanda’s lifetime she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, watching soap operas as well tending to her flowers and making sure her hummingbirds had enough to eat. Most importantly she loved spending time with all her family.

Wanda is survived by her two children: Sandra (Richard) Steinhaus of Crivitz and Tony Engleman of Crivitz; two grandchildren: Dawn (Nick) and Kristyn (Nate); four great grandchildren: Lizzy (significant other, Andrew), Ascher, Gabby, and Stetson; one great great grandchild, Paisley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antone; granddaughter, Megan; brothers and sisters: Adolph, Robert, Michael, Anna, Millie, Sally, Adeline, and Loretta.

Wanda’s family will greet friends and family from 10am until her funeral service at 11am on Thursday January 26, 2023, at Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee. Father David Schmidt is officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Wausaukee.
