Timothy G. Barribeau

Dec 28, 1968 - Apr 18, 2024

age 55, of Goodman, passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 18, 2024, at his home. He was born in Iron Mountain on December 28, 1968; son of Alfred and Sue (Buck) Barribeau. In 1987, Timothy graduated from Goodman-Armstrong Creek High School as Valedictorian and continued his education for 1 year at University of Marquette and then graduating after 5 more years at University of Wisconsin. He worked many short-term jobs until retiring at Hribar Logistics in Caledonia, Wis. after 26 years of employment. Tim then moved up north to Goodman so he could take care of his father. Tim joined the School Board and took care of the books at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church; he also worked 7-8 years at the Meal Site. Tim was a great natured, “willing to lend a hand” individual who took pleasure in being there for others; he will deeply be missed.

Tim is survived by his father, the Honorable Alfred “Ott” Barribeau of Goodman; sister, Suzzette Williams of Iron Mountain; nieces and nephew: David Maruszczak, Shelby Maruszczak, Dalton Williams, Niko Williams, Jen and Stanley Jr. Maruszczak; and further survived by many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Barribeau; uncle, Kenny; aunt, Ella; and his grandparents.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 10am until 11am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am in Church with Father Soja Joseph officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery following Mass.

Tim will be missed in so many ways. He was truly God's servant. He loved his school and his community and was always giving back to both. He was a friend and someone I looked to for advice. I will miss him. Sending prayers and love to his family.

Tim stayed with us while 1 year in college. He had has own room downstairs. We had a beagle (Taz) who loved to wake him up by jumping on him. We would hear a grunt and knew Tim was up. Many memorable times! Love you always, you will be missed always !

Marge (Leja) Anderson

Having worked with Sue for many years, I remember well the hard times she and Ott had when Tim had his cancer. This is another sad tragedy for the family. Sincere condolences to Ott and Suzzette and extended family.
