Obituaries

age 74, of Pembine, died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday May 8, 2019, at Florence Health Services.  He was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on December 25, 1944; son of the late Claude and Eunice (McEwing) Hollingsworth.  Dick graduated from Pembine High School in 1963.  December 2, 1967 was united in marriage to Bonnie Giguere.  He worked many years at the Goodman Veneer Mill and made many friends.  Dick was an avid hunter with his rifle and bow.  He also enjoyed fishing, making firewood and woodworking but most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; two children:  Lisa (Ken) Hanson and Scott Hollingsworth; three grandchildren:  Nichole (Adam), Casey, and Ben (Nicollette); and five great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda.

Family and friends may visit Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine on Monday May 13, 2019, from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 am with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in the Pembine Cemetery.
