Richard “Dick” Anderson

age 84, of McAllister, passed away Tuesday February 20, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area. He was born in Milwaukee on February 15, 1940; son of the late Edward and Josephine (Springschutz) Anderson. He graduated from Wausaukee High School. Dick loved playing the fiddle and listening to Bluegrass Country music. He enjoyed his dogs as well as playing golf and hunting. Dick was a past president of the Wausaukee School Board and was a member of Community Lutheran Church in McAllister. He also loved watching local school sporting events, Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.

Dick is survived by his three children: Tiffany (John) Burie, Randy (Shelly) Anderson and Scott Anderson; six grandchildren: Derek (Julia) and Zane Anderson, Bethany (Russ) Carson, Rebekah, Joe, and Nate (Rachael) Burie; two great grandchildren: Alistair and Josephine and four siblings: Phil (Betty) Anderson, Chris (Al Radey) Proctor, Cathy (Wayne) Larsen, and Bobbie (Mike) Russ. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Carl and Mike.

Visitation will be held at Community Lutheran Church, McAllister, WI, from 9am until 11am on Saturday February 24, 2024, with a funeral service beginning at 11am in church. The Rev. Paul Hueter will officiate. Burial will be in the Community Lutheran Cemetery this spring.

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting Dick’s family with arrangements.

To all of the Andersons ... I am so sorry for Dick's loss, and holding his immediate family, and all of you, in my heart. Your family has meant so much to me throughout my entire life. We don't see each other often, but you all hold a special place in the Grindrod family. Much love to everyone.
