Obituaries

age 81, of Goodman, passed away Wednesday July 3, 2019, at Nu-Roc Community Healthcare in Blackwell.  He was born in Goodman on August 5, 1937; son of the late Wilfred and Helen (Spaeth) Millette.  Chet was united in marriage to the former Loretta Matelski on June 28, 1958, at St. Leonard Catholic Church in Laona.  He helped start the Goodman Fire Department and worked as an EMT for over 30 years.  Throughout their life together they enjoyed traveling all over the World.  Chet also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Chet is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Loretta; three children:  Diane (Benjamin) Renkas, Gregory (significant other, Jodee) Millette, and David Millette; two grandsons:  Bryan and Daniel; and a sister, Pat (Dennis) Gardner.  He is preceded in death by his son, Todd; brother, Rob; and sisters:  Maryanne, Mildred, Sadie, Marcella, Lucille, and Joany.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am on Saturday, July13, 2019, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman with Father Timothy Brandt presiding.  Memorial visitation will start at 9am and continue until the time of Mass.  Full Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #125 and VFW Post before Mass.
