Lowell S. Duenweg

Aug 29, 1962 - Jun 12, 2020

Lowell S. Duenweg

age 57, of Pembine, passed away from an accident on Friday, June 12, 2020, in Green Bay. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 29, 1962; son of Stephen and Fay (Johnson) Duenweg. Lowell was a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 400 and he loved the Union Brotherhood. Lowell was an avid bird hunter and focused on grouse and woodcock with Rukus. You could always find him working on woodworking projects, cutting firewood and stacking it into unique piles. He enjoyed trap shooting at the Dunbar Sportsman Club where he shot for years. Lowell was a laidback, caring man, and a jokester with some kind of smart comment to say. He will be missed.

Lowell is survived by his wife, Tina; two daughters: Sierra (Taylor Carlsen) and Savannah Duenweg; father, Steve; sister, LaRae Brekke; mother-in-law, Sheryl Potier; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Julie Potier, Ken (Carol) Potier and Mari Jo (Craig) VanPembrook; nieces and nephews: Jessica, Hannah, Shannon, Allison, Dalton, Molly, Sterling, Dakota, Mariah, and Kabe; great nephews: Oliver, Arlo, and Roger; and four legged buddy, Rukus. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fay; father-in-law, Roger Potier; and dear friend, Brian Mayhew.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine from 10am until noon and funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Kayla Keilholtz officiating. Burial will be in the Pembine Cemetery.  Due to our current pandemic we will be having an outdoor visitation and service on the church grounds (weather permitting). We ask you to practice safe social distancing as well. Please bring your own chairs.

Although I didn’t know him, I’m 56 close to his age , work at Team Industries and we are all devastated at his death. I’m deeply sorry for your loss. Like me, so close to retirement and a tragic accident takes his life. Gives us all a chance to think when we can call it quits. Again as a union 400 member I’m very sad for a loss of a brother.
