Nov 04, 1947 - Oct 15, 2023

of Menomonee Falls, was born to eternal life on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the age of 75 years. Kate was born on November 4, 1947, the daughter of Elias and Anna Mae Botic. Throughout her life, Kate had a caring heart. Determined to help others, she found her calling in helping children in need, by taking them in as foster children. She fostered numerous kids throughout the years; eventually specializing in special needs foster care. Some of these kids Kate would eventually adopt. To further her ability to help others, Kate went back to college in her 50’s and received a Business Degree from the University of Phoenix. This advanced her career with a job working for the Lutheran Social Services, where she worked as a Care Coordinator and Case Manager. Having been married previously, Kate did not anticipate developing a friendship with Lloyd Wallenslager. The two were inseparable. Kate and Lloyd married each other on December 27, 2008. They built their life together. Kate’s love of cooking and baking were shared with many over the years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, music, reading a good book, writing, and most of all spending time at the Lake house in Wausaukee, WI. Being service oriented, Kate was a Girl Scout and 4H leader, and was an active member of St. Lukes Church in Rome, WI for many years. Kate’s tenacity and willingness to lend a helping hand will be cherished by all who knew her. Kate had a deep faith and a devoted love of the Lord as her savior. Her assurance in her faith was lived and shared with others throughout her life.

Kate will be dearly missed by her husband, Lloyd Wallenslager; children: Henry (Tina) Krahling JR., Debra Henry, Alex Lochel, Christine (Terry) Jacobson, Bridget (Douglas) Bartsch, Jacob Krahling, Heidi (Matthew) Nechy, Kevin Wallenslager, Timothy Krahling, Elisabeth Krahling; grandchildren: Tyler, Bill, Anthony, Julia, Amy, Jessica, Jason, Nicole, Thomas, Eric, Emma, and Gabriel; and first husband, Henry Krahling Sr. Kate is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
