age 80, of Wausaukee, died peacefully April 22, 2022, at NEWCare in Crivitz. She was born January 15, 1942, in Marinette; daughter of the late Walter and Pearl (Thurow) Kunick. Joyce graduated from Marinette High School and was united in marriage to David on September 3, 1960. She was a homemaker, gardener, cake decorator, loved feeding the birds, watching wildlife and thoroughly enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She retired from NEWCare in Crivitz as a cook. Joyce was an excellent cook and had the patience of a saint.
Joyce is survived by her four children: Davie (Kathy) Collier Jr. of Crivitz, Tammy (Daniel) Meyer of Marinette, Cheri (Dennis) Whitton of Wausaukee, and Scott (Patty) Collier of Wausaukee; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and two brothers: Russell (Kris) Kunick, and Craig (Deb) Kunick. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; her granddaughter, Mandy; sister, Ruth; and brother-in-law, Mike Lindsey.
Joyce’s family will greet friends from 11am until her funeral service at 1pm on Friday April 29, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church of Wausaukee. Pastor Lin Wittmann is officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Wausaukee.
