Obituaries

age 86, of Goodman, passed away peacefully Saturday October 5, 2019, at Manorcare Nursing of Kingsford.  He was born October 9, 1932, in Goodman; son of the late Frank and Connie (Pasuit) Tatar.  Joe was united in marriage to his wife Beverly on November 21, 1953.  He worked his entire life at the Goodman Veneer Mill.  He enjoyed rock collecting and polishing, gardening, making firewood, mushroom picking, spending time outdoors and his animals.  Joe was a kind hearted man who enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Beverly; his sister, Stella Dziewontkowski; a special niece Cheryl Bruce; two sisters-in-law:  Carol and Kathy; and extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Family and friends may call on Friday October 11, 2019, at the Armstrong Creek Community Center from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am with Brother Brian Kliest officiating.  Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman.
