Howard L. Rice

age 85, of Middle Inlet, died Sunday, March 19th, 2023. He was born to the late Cotton “Elmer” Rice and Viola (Aho) Antila “Gene” on April 14, 1937. He married the love of his life, Janet Marsland of Green Bay in 1959, and she preceded him in death in 1993. He was employed by White Pine Copper Co, and the Red Owl Warehouse. He enjoyed volunteering at the VA, playing guitar, computers, and “living up Nort.”
Howard is survived by his daughter: Rhonda (Rob) Raleigh; grandson: Thomas (Kodi) Baker; great grandchildren: Ashley, Josephine and Lucas; sisters-in-law: Judi Rass, Jennifer (Gerald) Wixon, and Josie (John) Urban; brothers-in-law: Jack (Susie) Marsland, and Jim (Jane) Marsland; godson, Robert Wery; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Dennis and Glen; sisters-in-law: JoAnn Marsland, Jill (Tom) Wery; brothers-in-law, Joe Marsland; and special friend Nathalie Miller.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting Howard’s family with arrangements.
