Gloria A. Persinger

age 95, of Amberg, died Tuesday December 27, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson. She was born July 11, 1927 in Milwaukee; daughter of the late Lawrence and Martha (Olschewski) Schieble. She graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee and soon thereafter was united in marriage to Donald Persinger on March 22, 1947, in San Diego, where he was stationed during his service time. Gloria and Don loved to travel throughout the United States and Canada. She enjoyed Genealogy and tracing her family history as well as taking pictures of wildlife and everything special to her. Gloria was a member of the Amberg Legion Auxiliary, Life member of the VFW Auxiliary and former member of the Amberg Historical Society.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Don; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces; great nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Harold and Louie; and three sisters: Harriet, Ruth, and Marion.

Visitation will be from 10am until her funeral service at 11am on Thursday January 5, 2023, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine. Pastor Lloyd Luedeman is officiating. Burial will be in the Amberg Cemetery this spring.

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting her family with arrangements.

We just learned of Gloria's passing and are so sorry to have missed the services. She will be remembered as a feisty woman and a great hostess. We truly enjoyed being included in her summer and anniversary celebrations. Bless you Don for all that you did for her. Rest in Peace Gloria.

She was the longest lived in her family and had great life experiences. She motivated and nurtured mosly everyone that knew her. Her time on earth is finished and she will meet her Maker and her Book of Life will be opened and reviewed with her by Him. Rest in Peace Gloria.
