George J. Jicha

May 10, 1933 - Jan 13, 2021

age 87, of Crivitz, died peacefully Wednesday January 13, 2021, at NEWCare in Crivitz. He was born on May 10, 1933; son of the late Emil and Lucille Jicha. George lived out his very full life in the Middle Inlet area. He is survived by his wife, Marie (DesJardin) Jicha; and numerous immediate and extended family members.

George was an Army veteran who honorably served in the Korean War as a Green Beret. He was also an active member of the American Legion. After his service to his country, he enjoyed many years driving truck in the logging industry. He enjoyed this very much and talked about it incessantly throughout his retirement years. Throughout his life and even more so in his retirement George enjoyed playing golf and tending to his garden and yard. He also wouldn’t miss a chance to tinker and hang with the “guys” in the garage. He was always willing to help anyone he could and will be missed by many.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee on Saturday January 30th, 2021 from 10-12 Noon with the service to be held at 12 Noon.
