Obituaries

age 79, of Wausaukee, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 12, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area. She was born in Marinette on June 9, 1944; daughter of the late Dennis and Katherine (Hummel) Thompson. Diane graduated from Crivitz High School in 1962. She was united in marriage to Gary Aubry on September 13, 1985. Diane thoroughly loved the outdoors and nature. She enjoyed fishing, quilting and knitting, babysitting many children, but most importantly time spent with family was extremely cherished. Whether it being baking or playing cards she loved her family time!

Diane is survived by her husband, Gary; children: Lisa (Todd) Robertson, Trent Vertz, Betty (Rob) Ellis, Scott (Debbie) Aubry, and Lisa Lemke; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers: Bill (Linda), Gary (Jane) and Rob Thompson; daughter-in-law, Patti Jarman; special friend, Kadie Lu (Dave) Wettberg; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Pam (Gerald) Meyers, Mark (Mary) Aubry, Val Watson, Alice Roush, Avis (Jim) Denowski, Kay (Eugene) Quever, Tim (Teresa) Aubry, and Brenda (Steve) Wickman. She was preceded in death by son, Tod; daughter, Mindy; granddaughter, Brandi; brother, Dwayne; and son-in-law, Paul.

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 19, 2023, at Roubal Funeral Home from 12pm until the time of her funeral service at 3pm. Pastor Paul Hueter will officiate.
