Dennis Klein

age 70, of Pembine, WI died peacefully Wednesday, August 16, 2023 surrounded by all the love from his wife, children, family, and friends, after a short battle with cancer. Dennis was born on September 3, 1952 in Manitowoc, WI to the late Clarence and Adelaide (Steder) Klein. He grew up in the Two Rivers, Manitowoc area and attended Manitowoc schools before taking a job and moving to Texas. Upon his return to Manitowoc, Dennis started a family and new career at Kelvinator. He worked there for several years before obtaining his cdl for a driving career with Buffalo Don’s until he retired and moved to his piece of heaven on earth in the north woods. He married the love of his life, Nancy (Posvic) Klein on June 16, 2000 and shared the rest of his life honoring and cherishing that union. Dennis had a passion for life and enjoyed every minute of it. Those passions included hunting, fishing and shooting pool. He also took great pride in his children and grandchildren. He was always there lending his hand and electrical knowledge to any family, friend, or neighbor who needed it. He found joy in sitting in the garage listening to music and visiting with family and friends. Dennis also would make so many friends while visiting many of the local establishments. Something dear to his heart was his monthly lunch gatherings with the Cocoon Club.

Survivors include his wife Nancy; two daughters: Linda Jarmuskiewicz and Leanne Klein; one son and daughter-in-law: David and Paige Klein; six grandchildren: Kayla, Emily, Alex, Sawyer, Emory, and Wyatt; one great-grandson: Blaze. He is further survived by three brothers and two sisters in law: Clarence Jr (Butch) Klein, Francis and Cheryl Klein, Larry and Nancy Klein; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Darlene and Gordon Boettcher, Carolyn and Jeff Anhalt. Six brothers in law: Martin Posvic, Dave (Sue) Posvic, John Posvic, Mark Posvic, Mike Posvic, Jeff Posvic. Eight sisters in law: Diane (Daniel) Loeh, Betty (Jerry) Denton, Sandy (Todd) Jaeger, Debbie (Mike) Jaeger, Sherry Posvic (Mark), Tammy Schmidt, Julie (Danny) Valenta. Many nieces, nephews and special friends. He is also survived by his very special neighbors and friends: Laurie and Dave Behnke, and Dave and Pam Roerhig. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence Sr and Adelaide Klein; Mother and Father-in-law: Vincent Sr and Elaine Posvic; two sisters-in-law: Kathy Klein, Lori Posvic; one brother-in-law, Vincent Posvic Jr; also his special companion and fur baby Ginger.

A celebration of life will be held September 9, 2023 at the Francis Creek Sportsman’s Club located at 9309 Parkway Rd, Francis Creek, WI beginning at 1pm.

He helped us with everything from siding our cabin, watching over our property when we weren’t there, to calling us when the propane price was low. Up north will never be the same.
