David “Dave” Collier Sr.

age 79, of Wausaukee, passed away peacefully Friday May 3, 2019, at NEWCare Convalescent Center in Crivitz.  He was born in Los Angeles, California on February 26, 1940; son of the late Sep and Evelyn (Swenson) Collier.  Dave enlisted in the Army and served his Country honorably.  He was united in marriage to Joyce Kunick on September 3, 1960, at Peace Ev. Church in Marinette.  Dave drove truck for a living and farming on the side was his passion.  He always kept busy.  His second hobby was logging and running heavy machinery.  He was proud when he took 1^st place at the Fair for his corn crop that year.  Dave always enjoyed time spent with family and friends.  He was a member of the Wausaukee American Legion Post 150 and First Presbyterian Church in Wausaukee.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; four children:  Davie (Kathy) Collier Jr. of Crivitz, Tammy (Daniel) Meyer of Marinette, Cheri (Dennis) Whitton of Wausaukee, and Scott (Patty) Collier of Wausaukee; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren with one on the way; one great great grandchild with one on the way; and his foster brother, Jerry (Jessie) Reese.  He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mandy.

Visitation for Dave will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Wausaukee on Thursday May 9, 2019 from 11:00 am until time of the funeral at 1 pm.  Pastor Agnes Brady will officiate.  Burial is in the Evergreen Cemetery with full military honors.
