Cary Lee “Clancy” Whiting

age 77, of Beecher, died unexpectedly Tuesday March 5, 2024, at his home. He was born in Oconto on November 16, 1946. A former County Commissioner, Clancy was also a sports enthusiast; he loved watching the Brewers, Badgers, Packers- even spendt time working at Lambeau Field and watching the Brewers Minor League in Arizona. He also enjoyed cutting firewood, visiting with his neighbor Bruce, going on road trips with his cat, and tending to his chickens.

Clancy is survived by his two children: Tami (Juan) Gonzalez and Tony (Nola) Whiting; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters: Bill (Leora), Laura, Jane (Ed), Paula (Paul), Paul (Patricia), and Alice (Mike). He was preceded in death by his sister and brothers: Patti, LeRoy, Matt, and Martin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting Clancy’s family with arrangements.
