Beverly Julia Dragosh
Jan 10, 1933 - Dec 21, 2022
was born on January 10, 1933, in Milwaukee Wi. Beverly passed away quietly in her sleep surrounded by her family on December 21st, 2022, at the finely seasoned age of 89. Beverly was married to the late Anthony Dragosh in August of 1975, and they were married for 45 years. Beverly met Tony while he was doing a construction job at her sister’s house.
Beverly graduated from Riverside High School in Milwaukee WI. Following high school, Beverly worked at Allen Bradley for 20 years and also had several other jobs working at Shopko. Beverly was a fun and enjoyable person to work with and don’t think she ever met a stranger. One time in Germany, visiting her son, she hailed a complete stranger to help them with some car trouble.
Beverly belonged to many community organizations including the Pembine Stitch and Chatter club, Pembine Senior citizens and she played the organ at her church. She also was an avid animal lover and at one time ran her own poodle grooming business in Brown Deer. Beverly was also the family’s unofficial photographer and could be counted on to capture all family memories. She also loved to write and frequently wrote articles that were published in the newspaper.
Beverly will always be remembered for her opera like singing voice and for her love of playing the organ and accordion. Polka music was her favorite to listen to and she could be seen in the pool going around and around with her polka music turned up loud. She also would take her nieces and nephews to Gimbals and Capital Court at Christmas time to watch the tree lighting and visit the store window decorations.
Beverly is survived by her 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, Rickee (Steve) Keeley (Beecher, WI) and their kids Hunter and Larissa (Cody), granddaughter Maggie May; Retired Army Sergeant Major Tom (Theresa) Pollack (Aurora, IN) and sons Raymond (Crystal), Jeffrey and Matthew (Christina) and their kids Preslie, and Heaven, Kiera and Daisy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends and Tommy the cat. Beverly was preceded by her loving husband Anthony Dragosh, parents Helen and Felix Zeromski, her sister Jackie Sardinia, brother-in-law Ted Sardinia, and great granddaughter Kyla Julia.
Beverly’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Saturday April 22, 2023 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pembine. Visitation is from 10am until the mass at 11am. Burial will be in the Pembine Cemetery.
