Yvonne Mae Mrozek

age 94, of Goodman, passed away Sunday September 17, 2023, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill. She was born in Goodman on July 17, 1929; daughter of the late Michael and Alma (Anderson) Vogels. She graduated from Goodman High School in 1947 and furthered her education with a BS Degree from Superior State College. Yvonne taught 1st grade in Rhinelander, Green Bay, Florida, Wauwatosa and retired in 1992. She was a longtime member at Union Protestant Church and enjoyed participating in church activities. She loved bird watching, was an avid golfer, meeting with her Red Hat Society friends and traveling throughout the country.
Yvonne is survived by numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Union Protestant Church in Goodman at 11am. Visitation will also be Monday from 10am- 11am at church. Pastor Deb Spira is officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Goodman.
Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting Yvonne’s family with arrangements.
