William F. “Billy” Stevens

age 94, of Pembine, died Saturday February 25, 2023, at NewCare in Crivitz. He was born in Pembine on May 22, 1928; son of Hiram and Margaret (Willis) Stevens. Billy graduated from Pembine High School in 1946. He then proudly served in the US Army in Korea during the Korean War. Billy then spent his 40 year career driving for Interstate Welding. He was an avid outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and logging. He loved taking daily walks of his 40 acre property.
Billy is survived by his sister, Sharon; and niece and nephews: Julie (Edward) Collins, Jeff (Debra Melvin) Emery, and Joel (Beth Siebers) Emery and Great-niece Layne (James) Locke and great-great nieces and nephews and stepchildren Sondra, Robert, and Patty. He was preceded in death by his former wives: Doris and Audrey; sisters: Clara “Joyce” Paske and Rosemary Stevens; and brothers-in-law: Phillip Paske and Donald Emery.
Visitation is on Friday March 3, 2023, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine from 10am until the funeral service at 11am. Pastor Lloyd Luedeman is officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Pembine American Legion. Burial will be this spring in the Pembine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pembine American Legion or Grace Lutheran Church.
