Wendy L. Werner

age 71, of Amberg, died unexpectedly Friday January 6, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson. She was born in Milwaukee on April 29, 1951; daughter of the late Lester and May (Butterfield) Andrist. Wendy worked as an administrative assistant at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine for 30 plus years. She loved her cat Bootsy, feeding “all her birds”, playing cribbage, cooking, whistling- while not even realizing she was, and supporting her Democratic Party.

Wendy is survived by her son, Phillip (Diana) Werner; four grandchildren: Brayden, Christopher, Breanna, and Bobby; and siblings: Roberta, Fred (Cheryl) and Ed (Connie). She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; and sister, Joyce.

Visitation will be held at the Roubal Funeral Home on Friday January 13 from 11am until time of her funeral service at 12pm (noon). Interment will be in the Amberg Cemetery this spring.

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting her family with arrangements.
