Robson “Bob” Barron

age 81, of Wausaukee, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday March 7, 2023. He was born in Green Bay on April 26, 1941; son of the late Robson and Rose (Bogrand) Barron. Bob graduated from Wausaukee High School in 1959. He served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged. Bob married Helen Nejedlo on January 6, 1968 until her death in 2000. He was owner and operator of Barron Insurance for many years. Over 40 years as a board member with Bank North and Stephenson National Bank serving as chairman of the board from 1985-2014 at Bank North. He also served as President of Wausaukee Enterprises, as well as President of Wausaukee Business Assoc. Bob was a Lions Club member since May 1, 1964. He was an avid golfer and even had a hole in one at Hunters Glen Golf Course. He also loved hunting, fishing and cutting firewood.

Bob is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lynn; three children: Becky (Dennis) Whitton, John (Tracy) Koester, and Pete (Karla) Koester; and 8 grandchildren: Will, Emmalyn, Noah, Henry, Jack, Max, Calvin and Beau. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen.

Visitation will be held at Roubal Funeral Home on Friday March 10, 2023, from 9am until the time of his Funeral Service at 12 pm. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Amberg American Legion Post #428. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery this spring.
