Mary J. Tadisch

Jul 07, 1946 - Mar 31, 2019

age 72, of Athelstane, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Sunday March 31, 2019.  She was born in Waukesha on July 7, 1946; daughter of the late Henry and Elsie (Stuart) Settlage.  Mary was united in marriage to Franklin Tadisch on November 27, 1965, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Crivitz.  She worked for her father Dr. Henry Settlage in Crivitz for many years as a medical assistant before providing home healthcare.  Mary loved gardening so she opened Mary’s Greenhouse where she could tend to her flowers and provide them to the community.  She was an excellent cook but above all she adored spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her husband, Franklin; five children:  Mark (Deborah) Tadisch of Athelstane, Lisa (Rodney) Nystrom of Green Bay, Shawna (Greg Knudsen) Tadisch of Middle Inlet, Frank (Samantha) Tadisch of Verona, and Alex (Melissa) Tadisch of Pound; 9 grandchildren:  Amanda, Shannon, Kayla, Neena, Ryan, Nathan, Hunter, Kylee, and Brayden; four great grandchildren:  Mason, McKenna, Jaxon, and Clara; one brother; her four-legged family member, Benny; and numerous extended family and many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Michael.

Family and friends may visit Roubal Funeral Home on Saturday April 13, 2019, from 10 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 pm with Pastor Lin Wittmann presiding.

Mary’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Unity Hospice who kindly cared for her with compassion and sincerity.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
