Margaret Ruth Parr

Apr 11, 1933 - Jun 02, 2021

Was born to William and Ruth Smolander on April 11, 1933. Margaret attended Cole School in Beecher and graduated from Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine Schools in 1951. After graduation Margaret attended Badger Business College in Green Bay.

Margaret and William Parr were married on May 24, 1958. One of the best cooks to ever live; her pies were too beautiful to cut. Margaret worked in the kitchen at Four Seasons as a teenager. One day she asked if she could bake for the employee’s dining hall, that night the cake she made was served in the guest’s dining room.

Margaret was very proud of her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, always carrying her “Brag Book” in her purse.

Margaret is survived by her children: Jim (Marsha) Parr, Brian (Nancy) Parr, and Ruth (Lowell) Obry; grandchildren: Jared Parr, Sarah Parr, Eliza (Luke) Eubanks, Jesse Parr, Hailey Parr, Collin (Maddie) Obry, Tyler Parr and Justin Parr; great grandchildren: William and Theodore Eubanks; brother-in-law, Nicholas Dalsanto; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Parr; grandson, Clinton Parr; parents, William and Ruth Smolander; sisters: Lila Dalsanto and Arlene Smolander.

Visitation will be on Sunday June 6, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine from 11am until the time of her funeral at 1pm. Rev. Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pembine Cemetery. Proper precautions will be taken for Covid-19 when indoors and masks will be required.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pembine Rescue Squad.
