John Frank Limanowski Jr.

Oct 18, 1989 - Oct 03, 2021

age 31, of Goodman/Armstrong Creek WI formerly of Chicago Ridge, IL, passed away October 3, 2021 as a result of complications from Lymes Disease.

He is survived by his parents, John and Teresa (Dorsey) Limanowski, his sister Angela (Ryan) Paulaskas, his grandmothers Mary (Fifer) Dorsey of Groveland Fl. (formerly Chicago) and Agnes (Walczak) Limanowski of Chicago (formerly Armstrong Creek) and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Robert Dorsey and Walter Limanowski.
For most of his life John was raised in Chicago Ridge but truly started living his life when he moved Up North in his mid 20’s. He was in his element being in the country and enjoyed all the Northwoods had to offer – hunting, fishing, boating, and gardening. He worked alongside his parents operating the family construction business where he was able to utilize his outstanding carpentry skills.

If you were lucky enough to know John, he was a generous, easy-going, fun-loving guy with a contagious laugh and huge smile which was sometimes hard to see under that ever growing beard of his.

John had so much goodness, so much capacity to bring happiness to others and such a bright future. The world is a lesser place without him.

Visitation for John will be on Friday October 15, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at the Armstrong Creek Community Center and again on Saturday October 16 from 9am until the time of his Mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church at 10am. Burial is in Pine Hill Cemetery.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, John’s family would appreciate donations to the Almost Home Animal Shelter Quinnesec, Michigan.

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting John’s family.

A good guy gone too soon! I met Johnny in the 8th grade. Being the new kid sucks, but he made it easy with his jokes and laughter. Going into high school, he was a popular guy. Always remember pulling up to school and seeing him and Ricky sitting in his extended Ford pickup truck. Johnny talked to everyone. He was a confident person and always had me laughing. All throughout high school and after, he looked out for me with his best interest. To Johnny, you are very much missed. Please watch over your friends and family who loved you dearly. To the Limanowski family, I send my deepest condolences. It was a pleasure knowing John.

I knew John since 6th grade but we really didn't start talking again until February of 2020. He seen I was getting a divorce and DM me and it was all smoke from there. We would sit on the phone for hours just laughing and laughing. He really was one if a kind and the world could definitely use some more of his kind. My condolences to his family.
