Obituaries

of Dunbar, Wisconsin, born February 23, 1926, passed away November 8, 2018. Genevieve was an avid gardener and loved to pore over the seed catalogs in the winter, always planning next year’s garden. She loved to read and instilled the love of reading and learning in her children. She ran an insurance agency in Brookfield, Wisconsin with her husband while raising two children back in the 50’s and 60’s. She was a modern woman, and she believed you needed to stand up to be counted, to never assume that anything is only about you, and to always look at the big picture. She was a very gentle, sweet woman, an easy conversationalist, a pleasant housemate, and one of the few people in this world able to keep Don Z. in line. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Don Z. Reinertsen; her daughters:   Pamela (Thomas) Schneider and Cindy (Carlos) Pinera; her grandchildren:   Jon Schneider and Lauren Autrey; and her great grandchildren:  Andrew Autrey and Amelia, Weston, and Hayden Schneider.

Family and friends may call on Saturday November 17, 2018, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in Pembine from 10am until the time of funeral at 11am.  Pastor Gene Wickman will officiate.  Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Armstrong Creek.
