I have known Fred for about 25 years. He attended our church, Cornerstone A/G for a number of years. I remember his visits in my office where he would stop in occasionally for coffee and conversation. Another frequent meeting place was the Athelstane Post Office. Fred will be remembered for years of service as chief of Athelstane fire department. Fred will be missed. Our prayers are with Nancy and the family. Dennis and Ruth Schmidt

Hi family So sorry for your loss. I wished I would have gotten the chance to spend time with Uncle Fred. Sounds like we have a lot in common. I too love the outdoors, hunting and fishing. I will always treasure the only true memory I have of Uncle Fred. That's when we came to visit and he took me and my dad on a rabbit hunt with his Beagle (I think it was a beagle)! God bless. If you ever wander down to Houston look me up. Tony Garza (Audrey's second son) 713-818-1279
