Elizabeth “Fluff” R. Caine

on 10/20/2021, died in Rennes East Nursing Home. She was 95 years old.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, William Caine (Karen) of St. Louis MO, Patrick Caine (Jadzia) of Wausaukee WI, Daniel Caine of Wausaukee WI, Donald Caine (Lynn) of Plover WI, Audrey Caine of Maplewood MN, Paul Caine (Darlene) of Wausaukee WI; and her sister, Germaine Howarth of Marinette, WI. She is further survived by her 9 grandchildren and their families, including 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Caine; parents Anton and Rose Homa; siblings Gertrude, Adeline, Genevieve, Anton, Arthur, Ervin, Daniel, Raymond, Walter, and Ceil.

Elizabeth was born on 10/7/1926 in Marinette WI. She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School of Marinette WI.  Elizabeth married William Caine in 1947. They were lifelong residents of Wausaukee, WI. Fluff was well known for cooking and baking and always extended a warm welcome and dinner invitation to any visitors. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and traveling. She was a co-owner of Caine Farms in addition to working as an assistant to Dr. Alice Lee and at the St. Augustine Rectory for many years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be private and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life service held and announced at a later date in Wausaukee.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that Elizabeth’s memory be preserved through donations to St. Augustine Church Building Fund in Wausaukee.

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting her family with arrangements.
