Darlene A. Engel

age 79, of Goodman, died Sunday March 5, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson. She was born in Goodman on April 1, 1943; daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (LeChappell) Engel. She worked at ITU in Milwaukee for 38 years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman and participated with the Christian Mothers as well. She was also a member of the Goodman Historical Society. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening and visiting with friends at the Goodman meal site.

Darlene is survived by her siblings: Nancy Baumgartner of Muskego, Jim Engel of Chinook, WA, Ernie Engel of Goodman, Tom Engel of Skiatook, OK, Dennis (Ella) Engel of Goodman, Earl Engel of Sussex, Liz (Butch) Gazler of Whiting, IN, Mary (Dave) Foxgrover of Saxon, Lori (Dave) Jorlin of New Berlin; and further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Patrick and Robert; nephew, Michael Gazler; brothers and sisters-in-law: Wayne, Katie, Connie, and Connie.

Visitation is on Saturday March 11, 2023, at the Goodman Community Center from 11am until the time of her service at 12pm with Father Soja Joseph officiating. A luncheon will follow. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Goodman.

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting Darlene’s family with arrangements.
