age 79, of Athelstane, passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2020. She was born in Waukesha, WI on May 1, 1941; daughter of the late Leonard and Betty (Capito) Christensen. Colleen graduated from Pewaukee High School. She was united in marriage to her husband Milton on May 9, 1964 and were together for the next 56 ½ years. They moved to Athelstane, Wisconsin in 1995 and she enjoyed knitting baby booties, hats, mittens, doyles, quilting, baking and gardening. She was a master painter and has quite the collection of paintings. Colleen also loved walking and enjoying the beautiful wildlife especially watching birds.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Milton; two sons: Cory (Verlinda) and Keith (Christine) Teuteberg; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister, Toni (Paul) Christensen; and a daughter-in-law, Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her son, Kelly; brother, Leonard; and two sisters: Linda and Wilma.
A Burial Service will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery in Pewaukee at a later date.
Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting Colleen’s family.

Really sorry to hear about Colleens passing, such a wonderful Lady. Many times while I was up doing whatever at the house on the hill did I notice the smells from her cooking and the flowers outside the house. Take Care .

Dear Keith and Christine, Kazmir, Lydia, and all the family,
I was so sorry to see Kazmir's post about Colleen's death. You all have my sincerest sympathy. Losing a parent is always hard no matter their age or their health. I know Colleen had not been well, but I'm sad for all of you. I'm glad you had been to see her not too long ago, and I'm sure you're glad also. May you find comfort and peace in this hard time.

My sympathies to the Teuteberg family. I had Colleen’s sons Kelly, Cory, and Keith along with two of her daughters in law as students at Pewaukee HS. Colleen was a lovely lady and I’m sure she will be greatly missed. I’m sure Kelly will be greeting her with open arms!❤️❤️
