Angela “Angie” Warzon
Feb 04, 1965 - Oct 31, 2022
age 57, of Wausaukee, passed away on October 31, 2022. She was born in Levittown, NY on February 4, 1965, one of eight children of the late Louis and Kathleen (Storing) Ricca. Angela was a beloved member of Country Bible Church.
Mental health is a serious disease. While there are medications to help, the true gladiators are the individuals who sit across from you, listen to your struggles, and try to work through those struggles with you; often, these warriors are silently battling their own demons. Angela was the rock for hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals and dedicated her life to clinical social work. Tragically, that rock crumbled beneath the weight of Angela’s own struggles with persistent mental illness. The world lost this beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and dear friend to suicide one decade following the suicide of the love of her life.
Angela’s contagious smile will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched; we love you and have peace knowing you are with your Savior in Paradise.
Angela is survived by her four children, whom she loved dearly: Christopher (Melly Belvedere) Ricca, Joseph (Jaime) Hecht, Nathan (Alexis) Warzon, and Rahnee Warzon; grandchildren: Josie, Bella, Mavryk, and Rockford; further survived by nieces, nephews, life-long best friend, Suzie and 4-legged friend, Abby. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Arnold “Arnie”.
There will be a small, private, service for immediate family. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Menominee, MI Veterans Affairs Clinic’s Suicide Prevention Program.
Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting Angela’s family with arrangements.
