Obituaries

age 85, of Silver Cliff, found peace in Christ Tuesday April 23, 2019, at Rennes Health & Rehab Center-East in Peshtigo. She was born in Portland, IL on March 8, 1934; daughter of the late Leonard and Marguerite (Morse) Howlett. Alverda was a Nurse for many years. She loved nursing and helping her patients. She was a member of the Wausaukee Rescue Squad for 9 ½ years, a proud resident of Silver Cliff and was instrumental in putting it on the map. She was blessed with caring neighbors.  Alverda and husband Melvin enjoyed trips to Alaska and loved the outdoors. 

 Alverda is survived by her three children: Jon Michael (Carri) Mosher, Jeffery David (Debbie) Mosher, and Linda Jean (Stephen) Dolph; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Burnell (Illene) Howlett and numerous extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Justine; her first husband and father of her children Raymond E. Mosher; granddaughter, Jena Greenwood; her third husband, Melvin; and best friend Una Kromery.

Alverda will be buried in the Silver Cliff Cemetery (in the field her family farmed).

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
