Allan “Al” Anglemyer

age 76, of Pembine, died peacefully Saturday October 27, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in the Chalk Hills area in Marinette County on September 13, 1942; son of the late William and Evelyn (VanKirk) Anglemyer.  Al served his Country honorably in the US Army from 1962 through 1965.   He was united in marriage to Lillian Stoneburner on April 15, 1967, in Menominee, Mich.  They owned and operated Lil’s Café for 13 years.  He drove Semi (OTR) and Logging Truck for many years.  Al enjoyed tinkering in his garage and always kept every tool in its correct place as well as the place spotless.  The community members would always bring him their scrap metal so that he could take it in for recycling.  He always kept his yard looking nice and loved spending time walking his dogs and listening to his classic country and western music.

Al is survived by his loving wife Lillian; six children:  Russell Jicha, David (Vicki) Jicha, Debbie (Mark) Giannunzio, Barbara (Mike) Dowiedt, Bonnie (Rick) Schalow, and Edward (Kim) Anglemyer plus honorable mention son Ronald (Betty) Behnke; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings:  Dean (Marcie) Anglemyer, Richard Anglemyer, Elaine Butterfield, Carol Miller and Betty (Phil) Anderson; four legged buddy, Elvis Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his siblings:  David, Mary and Karen; and pet, Elvis Sr.

Family and friends may call on Saturday November 3, 2018, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine from 10am until the time of the funeral at 12pm (Noon) with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating.  Full Military Honors will be accorded by Pembine American Legion Post #461 at church.  Burial will be in the Amberg Cemetery. 

Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
